Meet Lee Pasifull, the Managing Director of LP Energy Associates. We caught up with Lee to discover more about his role, his passion for the industry, and how he likes to unwind when he’s off the clock.
🗨️ When did you establish LP Energy, and how has the journey been so far?
“LP Energy was established in January 2022, starting out from my spare room. Since then, we have grown into a well-established consultancy, with a diverse and multiskilled team of consultants. The journey so far has been positive. We work on some amazing and interesting projects and have built a great team. At times, it can be stressful, but extremely rewarding.”
🗨️ What’s the most rewarding part of your role as Managing Director?
“Being able to work alongside my team on some fantastic and rewarding schemes. From single residential dwellings, to full portfolios of building stock. Additionally, it is gratifying to offer training and support and to watch the team grow their confidence and skill sets. Finally, I love working with repeat clients that I have had the pleasure to form friendly and longstanding professional relationships with.”
🗨️ Where do you envision LP Energy and yourself in the next 5 years?
“We are now in year 4 and have seen substantial growth of our team and services. The next five years, I would like to see our team double in size and push our knowledge and expertise to the point of providing a full, diverse range of ESG services, internationally.”
🗨️ What do you believe is the key to your team’s success?
“Flexibility and allowing the team to take responsibility for their own projects and clients. My method of working is to avoid micromanaging where possible. I also believe that having a team that continuously learn and adapts is key to their success, to which I am very proud”
🗨️ How do you like to unwind after work?
“I am a musician and enjoy performing weekly around pubs, clubs and festivals. When I am not doing that, I enjoy cycling and spending time hiking with my partner and our dog, Elvis.”
🗨️ If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
“Don’t let indecisiveness and fear hold you back from opportunities laid out in front of you. Also, don’t work yourself to the point of burnout”
🗨️ What are the top three items on your bucket list?
“Travel to every country in the world, get another miniature Schnauzer and open a vineyard”.
🗨️ What’s your biggest pet peeve?
“Traffic is up there with my biggest pet peeve.”
🗨️ What is your go-to karaoke song?
“Thanks to the band, I have about 125 of them.”
🗨️ If you hosted a talk show and could invite any three guests, who would you choose?
“Brian Cox, Will Ferrell and Steven Tyler (Aerosmith)”
