In our next edition of Employee Spotlights, we’re introducing Harri Pasifull! Harri is our Account Manager at LP Energy Associates. We recently sat down with her to find out how she’s getting on at LP, learn more about her role, and discover what she enjoys doing outside of work.
🗨️ When did you join LP Energy, and how are you getting on so far?
“I’ve always been involved in the background of LP Energy’s development, but I was officially employed around three years ago. I really enjoy it! It’s fun, easy-going, and flexible, which works well alongside my part-time studies.”
🗨️ Can you tell us about your role at LP Energy and what drew you to it?
“I manage all expenses, purchase and sales ledgers, and handle our financial reporting to ensure everything is ready for our accountants. I make sure payments are made on time and can be a bit like Dog the Bounty Hunter when it comes to chasing them up! I’ve worked in accounting for a long time, so joining LP Energy to run the accounts felt like a natural next step.”
🗨️ What’s a recent challenge you’ve tackled that made you grow professionally?
“Recently being diagnosed with dyslexia in adulthood has helped me grow both personally and professionally. It’s allowed me to better understand how my mind works and how to use the strengths that come with dyslexia proactively in a business setting.”
🗨️ Is there a particular project or achievement you’re especially proud of?
“I’m proud of how I manage the stress and tight deadlines that come with our financial year-end. It really pushes me out of my comfort zone and reminds me how capable I am under pressure.”
🗨️ What’s one piece of advice you’d share with someone just starting at LP Energy?
“Communicate with the team, and if you don’t understand something or have an idea for improvement, let one of us know – feedback is always welcome.”
🗨️ Do you have a hobby or interest that might surprise your colleagues?
“I would say rugby. I play as a forward for the Braintree Vixens Ladies Rugby Team.”
🗨️ If you could instantly master one new skill, what would it be and why?
“To master balance. Staying productive, drinking enough water, and remembering where my phone and glasses are! I’d save lots of time and stay hydrated while doing so.”
🗨️ What’s one destination on your travel Wishlist – and why that spot?
“Japan, for the food, culture, and of course, Pokémon!”
🗨️ What’s your biggest pet peeve?
“Mansplaining.”
🗨️ If you could swap lives with someone for a day, who would it be?
“Noel Fielding – I’d love to see what it’s like inside his mind for the day.”
